The grandson of a fisherman, Chris has grown up on the water. From sailing dinghies as a boy before moving to bigger yachts, he’s even had a successful sailboard racing career having been involved in numerous global events.
Over the years, racing, cruising and the delivery of boats have clocked up the nautical miles on all sorts of vessels. Chris was, until recently, the full time Coxswain/Mechanic of the Salcombe lifeboat for the RNLI. Chris has the ability to teach with ease making it a pleasure to gain experience from boat handling to Advanced Navigation.
